FSA MegaExo Wave Washer + Spacer Set – 24 mm
The FSA MegaExo Wave Washer + Spacer Set for 24 mm spindles contains one wave spring washer and one plastic spacer – the two small parts on the non-drive side of an FSA MegaExo crank that take up side play and keep the left arm quiet and smooth.

Why buy the set?
Both parts at once. No need to work out which of the two is worn.
The easy fix for a knocking crank. Fresh washer and spacer take up side play again.
Made for a bottom bracket change. The FSA MegaExo BB-7100 does not include the wave washer.
Original FSA parts. The same parts we use when we build and service our Booda Bikes.

What is in the set
One wave spring washer and one plastic spacer for 24 mm MegaExo spindles. Together they set the spacing between the non-drive-side bottom bracket cup and the left crank arm and gently preload the bearings.

Where do the parts go?
The wave washer is part 2 and the plastic spacer part 3, both on the non-drive side of the spindle.
1 – bottom bracket (two bearing cups threaded into the frame), 2 – wave spring washer, 3 – plastic spacer, 4 – left crank arm, 5 – crank bolt, 6 – drive-side crank arm with the 24 mm spindle, 7 – chainring or belt sprocket (direct mount).
Who is it for?
- Riders with a clicking FSA crank. The cheapest first step before replacing bigger parts.
- Anyone fitting a new BB-7100. Fresh small parts with the new bearings.
- Booda Bike owners. Original spares for the FSA Comet crank on our bikes.

Frequently asked questions
Does the FSA wave washer + spacer set fit the Comet crank and the BB-7100?
Yes. Both use the MegaExo 24 mm spindle.
Does it fit 30 mm spindles?
No. It is made for 24 mm MegaExo spindles.
How do I fit it?
Clean the spindle and the face of the non-drive-side cup, place the wave washer and the spacer on the spindle, fit the left arm, tighten the crank bolt to FSA's torque value and check that the crank turns freely without side play.
We build and service belt-drive and gear-hub bikes every day in our Budapest workshop. Not sure which part you need? Send us a photo of your crank and bottom bracket and we will tell you what fits. FSA – Full Speed Ahead – has made bicycle components since 1993 and moved into cranksets and chainrings in 1995. FSA introduced the compact road crankset in 2004, and its MegaExo system with external bearings and a 24 mm spindle is one of the most widely used crank and bottom bracket platforms on mountain, gravel, trekking and urban bikes. FSA parts are fitted as original equipment by many bike brands, including our own Booda Bike belt-drive bikes.About FSA
