Rohloff Axleplate A12 OEM2 – 142/148/177 mm
The Rohloff Axleplate A12 OEM2 (8559) anchors the torque of a thru-axle Speedhub 500/14 A12 to the rearmost IS2000 brake-mount hole – via a support bolt, Speedbone or Monkey Bone – on 142, 148 and 177 mm frames.
Why the A12 OEM2 plate?
Uses the IS brake mount. Its seat wraps around a support bolt, Speedbone or Monkey Bone peg in the IS mount – no torque arm needed. 
Flexible position. On A12 hubs the position of the anchoring point relative to the axle does not matter, as Rohloff notes. 
Three widths. Fits A12 hubs with 142, 148 or 177 mm O.L.D. 
Frame approval. Rohloff states the frame manufacturer must approve this anchoring method; otherwise use is at the rider's own risk.
Who is it for?
- Thru-axle frames with IS disc mount. The standard torque solution for A12 hubs on IS frames.
- Riders adding a Speedbone or Monkey Bone. The plate those parts work with.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use it on a Postmount frame?
For Postmount, Rohloff uses the A12 PM axle plate with a PM Bone (8558 + 8555).
What if the brake mount is on the chainstay?
Rohloff states OEM2 cannot be used on frames whose IS or PM mount sits on the chainstay with vertical dropouts – ask us for an alternative.
