Belt driven bike for gravel/asphalt usage with Alfine 11 gear hub
Booda Bike Hiker is designed for the adventurous. Designed for gravel ground. The 11-speed gear hub model is a real specialty on the market. Schwalbe Allround Performance tubeless tires adhere very well to gravel soils, but can also be used on asphalt. The geometry results in a posture that is comfortable, even on long hikes. The Microshift Inter 11 shift lever is a real gem of a bike. The steel frame is just flexible enough to absorb uncomfortable resonances, but stiff enough not to spoil the riding experience.
Steel frame
Steel frame
The frame is the most important element of the bike, so it gets huge attention in the design. Due to the material properties of steel, it pleasantly dampens vibrations, but gives enough rigidity to make turning a real experience.
Carbon fork
The choice of carbon material for the fork is also crucial in terms of weight, but it is also a key issue in terms of comfort. The fork connects the front wheel to the steering wheel, so any vibration coming from the front is sensed through it. Carbon helps to dull the perception of small pebbles and unevenness.
~ 11,5 kg
Thanks to modern technology, the weight of 11.5 kilograms is now also available among well-equipped comfortable, gear-changing bikes, thus minimizing the load we have to carry while riding.
Shimano Alfine 11 gear hub
Designed for fast paced turning and climbing uphill. Controlled from the steering wheel, we can conveniently shift gears.

Gravel drop handlebar with Microshift Inter 11
The Gravel handlebar allows for a variety of handlebar grip positions, providing adequate safety when hiking in all situations. The Microshift Inter 11 brake lever is a sophisticated mechanism that moves with the brake lever, which makes shifting very easy.
Comfortable gravel tire
The Schwalbe G One Allround 622×40 tubeless gravel tires are wide tires so they can be said to be comfortable in addition to extra grip. Designed for gravel terrain, however, it can also be used on asphalt.
High puncture resistance, tubeless fluid
Tubeless tires are provided with Effetto Mariposa Caffelatex tubeless fluid, which forms a sticky, foamy material inside the rubber and immediately seals smaller holes.
Gates CDX Carbon Belt Drive System
The CDX Belt drive system is the most durable system. It provides high performance and reliability with low maintenance.
Maximum performance on both uphill and downhill
This bike is for adventurers who want to ride on hard terrain but also enjoy the speed they get on the asphalt. The geometry of the Hiker allows you to turn comfortably but efficiently on both uphill and downhill slopes.

Frequently asked questions
FAQ
We use an eccentric BB. This product was designed by us 10 years ago and we use it since. The belt is tensioned when assembling the bicycle. In normal cases, the belt tension does not need to be adjusted further. If the bearings of the eccentric BB wear out, they can be easily replaced without stopping the belt tension.
We give 3 years warranty for the bike.
The maximum tire size is 40mm. The Schwalbe G-One Allround 622×40 tubeless tire fits perfectly on this setup. Bigger tires would touch the frame in case of a little figure 8.
The mudguard does not effect the maximum tire size. The maximum tire size is 40mm. The Schwalbe G-One Allround 622×40 tubeless tire fits perfectly on this setup. Bigger tires would touch the frame in case of a little figure 8. In case of using mudguards with Supernova E3 Pure3 lighting set, the maximum tire size is 622×35 because of the lack of space in the mudguard with lighting cable.
Yes our frames are rust protected. We use coating for the frames. This is a spray that is sprayed inside the frame to form a protective layer in the steel frame tubes. The product is available in our webshop.
We deliver our bicycles disassembled as little as possible. Parts to be assembled: handlebar, front wheel, seat tube with seat and pedals. The reassembly of these parts is extremely easy.
- seat post (4mm allen key)
- pedals (6mm allen key)
- handlebar (4mm allen key)
- front wheel (6mm allen key)
The maximum load capacity is 120kg. The bike also can handle more weight but only if you lower the dynamic of the usage.
Bike assembly, maintenance and service documents
Here you can find all the importance informations about assembling and maintaining your bike.
Received the bike in immaculate condition and it was easily assembled in a few minutes.
Took it out for a quick test drive and it was fun! The frame is very stiff and the Shimano Alfine shifts gears
effortlessly. The steps from one gear to the next are quite fine, so you can always find the best gear very quickly.
Especially the carbon belt gives the bike a very unique and clean, but still technical look in all it’s blackness.
Note: When assembling the pedals, make sure you apply some grease and tighten them properly before the first use.
Three years with the Hiker – a marvelous ride!
I bought the the bike in the summer of 2020 and after about 4000 kms of gravel riding, it has yet to let me down once. The geometry is perfect! If you lower the stem a little, it feels just like a race bike whilst being as stable and rugged as you’d expect from a gravel bike. The steel frame feels exceptionally comfortable, the fork is light but sturdy. All parts by Possible are well machined and the bike runs at a noise level so low, you can barely hear a sound but the tyres touching ground. Speaking of, mine came with Challenge Gravel Grinder Tyres. I’d advise you to swap them out with some G One RS or Specialized Pathfinder tyres, which are more puncture resistant and have less rolling resistance. I also had to perform an oil change two times and obviously had to readjust the cable a few times. Both of these maintenance tasks are easily done though. Other than that and the occasional brake adjustments, I had zero issues with the bike so far. The gear box offers a gear range of 409% which is quite sufficient for mixed ground riding I believe. Obviously, it is a little less efficient than the good ‘ol external casette gears but for people like me who don’t like servicing their gears every two weeks, the ease of maintencance more than makes up for it. The Gates drive still holds up for me and I never had an issue with it.
For me, this is honestly the best gravel bike I got to ride so far. With the unusual drive system, it just feels so unique and you are certain to provoke interest in mechanics and other riders with it. I adore my Hiker and can absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to get into gravel riding.
