Apidura Expedition Fork Pack - 4.5 L
The Apidura Expedition Fork Pack is an ultralight, waterproof storage bag that attaches universally to any fork cage. It is designed for bikes with fork bolts and adds storage for adventures long and short. This is the previous-generation model; Apidura has since released a new-style Expedition Cargo Cage Pack.
Why a fork pack – and why this one
Fork cages add valuable space, but loose bags slip, soak through and are fiddly to strap down. The Expedition Fork Pack is made for the job:
- It fits any fork cage. The attachment mechanism is unique to Apidura: multiple attachment loops and straps that can be cut down to length let the bag fit any fork cage.
- Easy on and off. The straps do not wrap around the fork itself, which makes attachment and removal far easier.
- Access without removal. A buckle closure lets you get to the contents without taking the bag off the fork.
- Easy packing. A hands-free air release valve and a roll-top closure let you compress the load and adjust the capacity.
- Your kit stays dry. The lightweight laminate is waterproof and highly resistant to abrasion and tears.
Who is it for?
- Bikepackers and tourers who want to carry compressible items such as sleeping gear and extra clothing, or bulkier items such as cooking gear, extra food and drinks.
- Riders whose bike has fork bolts and who want extra waterproof capacity outside the main bags.
The Expedition Fork Pack is designed to attach to a fork cage such as the Apidura Cargo Cage, which is sold separately.

- Three-layer laminate, welded seams – a fabric developed specifically for Apidura: lightweight and highly resistant to tears and abrasion. The seams are welded together, creating a watertight seal for complete waterproofing.

- Hand wash only – use mild diluted soap if necessary and let it air dry. Do not machine wash, machine dry or iron.
