The Booda Bike Pilot is a single speed, belt-driven commuter bike with a steel frame, a carbon fork, a Gates CDX Carbon belt drive and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. Thanks to its road wheels, it performs best on asphalt.

Yes. The Gates Carbon Drive belt does not require lubrication and does not rust, the single speed drivetrain has no derailleur or shifters to adjust, hydraulic disc brakes are one of the lowest-maintenance braking solutions available, and the tubeless tires are filled with Effetto Mariposa Végétalex sealant that immediately seals smaller holes. All Booda Bike models use standard components, so any general bike shop can service the Pilot.

The Pilot has a steel frame that dampens vibrations while staying rigid, a carbon fork, and a Gates CDX Carbon belt drive that lasts significantly longer than a traditional chain. The tubeless tires use Effetto Mariposa Végétalex sealant for puncture protection, and the standard components are easy to replace.

The Pilot weighs approximately 8.5 kg without accessories.

The Pilot has Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 140 mm rotors; Shimano brakes are available as an optional upgrade. The tires are Schwalbe Pro-One 622x28, set up tubeless with Effetto Mariposa Végétalex sealant.

If the bike isn’t what you expected, you can return it within 14 days. Please make sure to pack it carefully so it arrives back to us in good condition. You can find the return conditions in our Terms and Conditions.

All our bikes are made using standard components, so they’re easy to maintain. This is a core principle across all our models. Thanks to this, any general bike shop should be able to service your Booda Bike.

This depends on the model and configuration, but most maintenance and assembly can be done with these tools: 4 mm Allen key, 5 mm Allen key, 6 mm Allen key, and a T25 Torx key.

Currently, we operate as an online-only store, but we’re working on making test rides possible in the near future.

Once we receive your order, we begin processing it. If all parts are in stock, our team will prepare the components in the order in which the orders were received. If something is out of stock, we’ll check the expected arrival or order it immediately. After that, your bike enters the assembly phase, which usually takes 1–2 business days. Once the bike is built, it undergoes a thorough quality check to ensure everything is assembled correctly. Then it gets packed and shipped straight to your door.

If you bought your bike through our website, just go to the “My Bicycle” tab in your profile — there you’ll find all components specific to your bike, so you’ll know exactly what you need and can easily reorder.

The customization options on our website are based on what we’ve learned actually makes sense over the years. There are very few modifications we are both able and willing to make that aren’t listed online — but feel free to email us at info@boodabike.com and we’ll be happy to discuss it.
